BlueCommunities
BlueCommunities (BCs) are part of Plastic Ocean’s global network of grassroots organizations and businesses committed to continuously engaging stakeholders through film screenings and dialogues.
Plastic Ocean provides each BC with detailed dialogue analyses and evidence-based resources to support the BC’s work on circular economy transition.
Commitments
-
Film Screenings
BCs host at least 6 film screenings per year. Each screening is carefully selected, building from the previous and allowing to dive deeper into community-specific issues.
-
Dialogues
Each screening is followed by a dialogue, creating a space for stakeholders to engage in meaningful conversations about the film and naturally environmental issues that may be relevant for the community.
-
Take Action
Plastic Oceans conducts a thorough analysis of the dialogues, identifying knowledge gaps and collaborative opportunities for action, specific to each community.
